Garmin Lebanon, operated by Azzi Sport Marine S.A.R.L., provides warranty support for genuine Garmin products supplied through our official distribution channel in Lebanon.
Eligible Garmin products are covered against defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the date of purchase, unless a different warranty period applies to a specific product, accessory, or category.
During the warranty period, Garmin Lebanon will inspect the product and, depending on the case, may arrange repair, replacement, or another suitable warranty solution in line with Garmin’s warranty procedures.
This warranty applies to Garmin products that were:
Warranty eligibility is verified using the product serial number. If the serial number confirms that the product was supplied through Garmin Lebanon’s official distribution channel, the product may be eligible for warranty support, subject to inspection and the terms of this warranty.
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, grey-market importers, parallel importers, or sellers outside Garmin Lebanon’s official distribution channel are not eligible for free warranty coverage through Garmin Lebanon. In such cases, our team may review the case and advise whether paid inspection, paid service, or another possible solution is available.
Accessories and consumable parts may be treated differently depending on the product, condition, type of issue, and time since purchase.
Items such as straps, mounts, cables, chargers, batteries, protective covers, and similar accessories are generally not covered for normal wear and tear, misuse, cosmetic damage, or damage caused after normal use.
However, if an accessory fails due to a clear defect in materials or workmanship shortly after purchase, Garmin Lebanon may inspect the case and advise accordingly.
Before submitting a product for warranty inspection, customers may refer to Garmin’s online support resources for troubleshooting, product manuals, software updates, and support guidance. If the issue continues, customers may contact Garmin Lebanon for inspection and warranty assistance.
To request warranty support, please contact Garmin Lebanon through any of the following methods:
To help us process your request, please provide:
In most cases, the product must be physically inspected by Garmin Lebanon before a warranty decision can be made.
Note: For watches, wearables, and rechargeable Garmin products, customers may be asked to provide the charging cable, charger, or any accessory used with the product, especially when the issue relates to charging, battery performance, power, or connectivity. Garmin Lebanon may also request any accessory required to properly inspect or diagnose the product.
Initial inspection usually takes 2 to 5 working days after the product is received.
If the issue is simple and the warranty approval is straightforward, the case may be resolved sooner, depending on product availability and the nature of the issue.
Some cases may require additional testing, Garmin approval, international service coordination, or replacement stock availability. These cases may take longer, and our team will update the customer accordingly.
If a valid warranty claim is approved, Garmin Lebanon may, at its discretion and in line with Garmin’s warranty procedures:
The final warranty solution depends on the product, issue, inspection result, stock availability, and Garmin’s applicable warranty process.
Note: If a valid warranty claim is approved, repair or replacement will be made at no charge to the customer for parts or labor, unless otherwise specified. The customer remains responsible for delivering or shipping the product to Garmin Lebanon for inspection. If the warranty claim is approved, Garmin Lebanon will cover the cost of returning or shipping the repaired or replacement product back to the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
Repaired or replaced products are covered for 90 days from the date of repair or replacement, or until the end of the original two-year warranty period, whichever is longer. A repair or replacement does not restart the original warranty period.
The customer is responsible for delivering or shipping the product to Garmin Lebanon for inspection.
If the warranty claim is approved, Garmin Lebanon will cover the cost of returning or shipping the repaired or replacement product back to the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
If the warranty claim is not approved, any return shipping, transport, customs, taxes, or related costs may be the responsibility of the customer. Shipping and transport arrangements are handled case by case.
If warranty service is required outside Lebanon, Garmin Lebanon cannot guarantee the availability of parts, products, repair facilities, or replacement options in another country. Service availability may vary depending on product range, local regulations, standards, laws, and Garmin’s service network.
If a product must be sent outside Lebanon for service, the customer may be responsible for shipping fees, customs duties, VAT, taxes, import/export requirements, and any other related charges, unless Garmin Lebanon confirms otherwise in writing.
This warranty does not apply to:
For Garmin marine products, warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by incorrect installation, poor wiring, voltage spikes, corrosion, water ingress caused by improper mounting or sealing, third-party accessories, incorrect transducer installation, or use outside Garmin’s installation and operating guidelines.
Marine products should be installed and operated according to Garmin’s official instructions. Garmin Lebanon may request inspection of the installation, wiring, mounting, or related accessories before approving a warranty claim.
Note: Certain Garmin marine products may be subject to additional Garmin Marine Warranty Policy terms. Customers may contact Garmin Lebanon to check whether their marine product is covered by any additional Garmin marine warranty conditions.
For Garmin watches and wearable products, warranty does not cover scratches, cosmetic wear, strap wear, battery degradation from normal use, damage caused by misuse, damage caused by non-approved chargers or cables, or water damage caused by use outside the product’s stated specifications.
If a newly purchased product appears to be defective shortly after purchase, Garmin Lebanon will inspect the product and review the case as a priority.
Newly purchased product issues are handled case by case depending on the inspection result, product condition, completeness of the product and accessories, stock availability, and Garmin’s applicable warranty procedures.
The product should be returned with its original accessories, charger, cable, and packaging where possible, especially if the case may require replacement. For inspection or repair cases, Garmin Lebanon may request only the product itself or any accessory related to the issue, depending on the case.
Garmin navigation products, maps, charts, and related features are intended to support navigation, travel, marine use, outdoor activities, and general positioning guidance. They should not be used as the sole source of navigation or for any purpose requiring precise measurement of direction, distance, location, depth, speed, altitude, or topography.
Garmin Lebanon does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of map data, chart data, route information, location information, satellite signal, weather data, traffic data, depth readings, or other navigation-related information.
Garmin products may experience reduced performance or temporary signal loss due to environmental conditions, satellite availability, buildings, terrain, interference, weather conditions, installation position, vessel structure, vehicle structure, or nearby devices and networks that may interfere with Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals, including GPS and other satellite positioning systems.
For marine use, Garmin charts, sonar, radar, GPS, and navigation products are aids to navigation only. Users remain responsible for operating safely, maintaining proper lookout, following local rules and regulations, and using official charts, instruments, and judgment where required.
Before submitting a product for inspection, customers should back up or remove any personal data where possible. Garmin Lebanon is not responsible for loss of personal data, saved activities, settings, maps, charts, routes, waypoints, tracks, sonar data, user profiles, or other stored information during inspection, repair, reset, replacement, or service.
Special sale, open-box, demo, clearance, or discounted Garmin products supplied through Garmin Lebanon’s official distribution channel are covered by the standard two-year warranty, unless different terms are clearly stated at the time of purchase.
Warranty coverage remains subject to inspection, serial number verification, and the terms and exclusions of this warranty.
